How often do ND does come in season?
I'm wanting to breed mine, but don't know anything about it. The kids are about 6 months old now, both does. How soon will the mamma be coming back into season? At what age will the kids mature enough to come into season? Is it ok to breed them in their first heat? Thanks.

WOW!! That often??? How do you tell when they're in heat? I'm use to breeding dogs, and it's pretty obvious when they're in heat.

Well, Gretta gets real flirty and affectionate with Boris (my GSD/mix) and follows him EVERYWHERE...drives him crazy. And Flossie gets real flirty with her brother Frankie...who is wethered. And then Frankie pretends he is a buck and makes all kinds of weird noises and sticks his tongue out LOL. I can really tell when they are in heat. Plus their hoo hoo gets a little gooey. Flossie's first few heats were not obvious...it wasn't until she was about year old.

LOL Looks like I need to keep a closer eye on their hoohoo's. We don't have a buck, so have to find one to breed them to.
