I couldn't help but think of some Bible passages in regards to this.

First off, I thought of the wedding feast where those that were invited didn't attend and gave lame excuse. (Matthew 22:1-14)

And I thought of 1 John 3:17 and James 2?15, 16 where it talks about seeing those w/out food and not doing anything about it.

I don't know if these people are Christians or not, but it's a good lesson for all of us.
