Using laundry soap for tub ring.
I am a housecleaner and I use this as a great way to have sparkling tubs without the bleach mess. I buy Sun laundry powder at the dollar store. I put it on a wet rag and use it like comet. It rinses clean and has no nasty residue. I feel safe letting my daughter who is 10 do it. I also use baking soda the same way if the tub isn't too nasty.

That's a great tip, I'm going to have to try it. I have hard water and we don't have a softener so anything that helps get the tub clean quickly would be a blessing.
