scrubing soap
My mother bought me a tube of sudsing scrub that has sugar instead of grit in it. The first ingredient is sucrose. It has eucalyptus and spearmint oil in it. Does any one know how to make this. What kind of sugar to use it has larger crystals than table sugar. but it melts so it doesnt stay in the tub.
Re: scrubing soap
I have seen the salt scrubs but I will look and see about the sugar scrubs..... Be right back..... hahaha Do you know who the manufacturer is???? P

Re: scrubing soap
so cool thank you. It is from bath and body works and it is $13 a tube but I can not pay that much for soap. I will see if I can make some.
Re: scrubing soap
When my son was little, at Christmas time, I would take him to Bath and Body Works and give him 100.00..... After all it was my Christmas present he was buying...... That taught him to always spend a lot of money on Girly things as gifts....... NOT pots, ironing boards and such..... I love Bath and Body Works...... Their Warm Vanilla Sugar anti-micorbial hand lotion is the only lotion that I have found that works on my dry hands during the winter..... P

Re: scrubing soap
My mom gets it for me every holiday. Easter, mothers day ect... She knows I do not go in there or I would be so broke and my power would be shut off because of it. My dog gets a bath in the eucalyptus and spearmint oil because it keeps the fleas off of him to a degree. I saved the scrub and lotion for me lol.
Re: scrubing soap
Sugar Scrub
1 cup sugar (I prefer white, but 2/3 white with 1/3 brown is pretty)
1/4 cup oil (may need more if scrub is too dry)
4-8 drops essential oil for scent (optional)
Mix ingredients well and store in a sealed container.
To use: use a few tablespoons to scrub your skin in small circles. Be aware that the oil may leave the shower floor slippery. I have not had this problem, but would always make the recipient aware!
Salt could be used instead of the sugar; however, if you have any small abrasions on your skin, the salt may prove painful! The sugar works very well!
