Although we harvested some english peas, we went ahead and froze them, BUT, we did have some spinach last night. It's so good when it's fresh from the garden. We also got a couple quarts of blackberries last night. Cobbler time!! Smile

I eat it several ways. I like it as a salad, but also like to saute it with green onions and add an egg to it. Last night though we just boiled it with some salt and butter.

I like it in a salad or on sandwiches in place of lettuce because lettuce doesn't agree with me.

We grew lettuce too and I was planning on using it in a salad tonight.

You just can't get better flavor than from home grown fruits and veggies. Smile With all the rain we've had the past few days my spinach and collards have gotten big enough to start harvesting from them. I'm thinking spinach salad and sauteed Collard greens with dinner tonight.
