All we have left is to plant the corn and the animal garden. We probably won't get it done this week-end because Joe has to work Saturday, but hopefully by next week. Potatoes and onions are coming up good. The tomatoes and peppers we started in the house and seem to be doing fine. I'll try to get Joe to get some pictures up, but it's been crazy around here lately.

Wow. That is great to have your garden in. It won't be until the second week of May that I'll be bale to say that since we are further north. It is always a pleasant, satisfied feeling to have everything in the ground waiting for it to come up.

Yes, up north you have a shorter growing period. I'm hoping to put in a fall garden this year, one of the benefits of living in the south. Smile

well, we had some rain today, which will help what I have planted, but may delay the main garden a few days.

We have our garden about finished too. William has done most of it. We still have some space to put more tomatoes.

We had tomatoes out for several weeks. They're blooming now. We have a huge bed of cucumbers (burpless, pickling and Crazy 8s), yellow squash, zucchini, four plants each of Cayenne, Jalapeno, Bell, and Sweet Banana peppers, eggplants, greenbeans and sunflowers for our chickens. Everything but the sunflowers is up.

I still don't have the basil, onion chives and sage planted in the herb bed yet. I have garlic chives but I don't really like the taste of them as much as the onion chives. The rosemary bush is growing like a weed and the oregano is spread like bemuda grass. LOL

William built a teepee and planted the greenbeans around each pole. The beans are getting ready to put on runners.

I'm so proud of William. He's not the gardener in our family but he's done a wonderful job putting in our garden this year.

Sorry I haven't gotten the pictures yet. We've got a lot going on with redecorating the children's church and getting ready for the mother's day tea. It's been taking up most of our free time. We should be finished with the children's church make over this Saturday.

Would love to see pictures. Our garden is in too but we have had major rain and some runoff in the garden area. Some seeds had surfaced and I replanted. But it rained again this weekend, I need to get out and check again this morning. I may figure out more things to plant. I feel like the more the better Smile
