coconut oil is brain food
Mom sent me this video, very intersting,

As we age I find we are looking for ways to help improve the quality of life, as well as extending the good years we have remaining. This has potential to help many people.

Thanks for the link. Looks interesting. I've been gradually learning about herbal remedies. The only one I actually use right now is St Johns Wort for depression. I've used it for years and finally planted some in my herb garden last year. So far I haven't prepared it from my herb garden because the plant didn't get big enough last year to have enough to harvest, but I'm hoping to harvest some this year to see if I can figure out how to prepare it (other than tea) I want to try to dehydrate it and get some empty capsules to put it in.

Real interesting link.
I drink three tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water once or twice a day. I use the good unpasteurized apple cider. I has helped my blood pressure and I think it give me more energy.

Re: coconut oil is brain food
I think we are seeing two things occur with healthcare. On one hand it seems that every discomfort has to have a diagnosis, and a pill prescribed. These pills may help but have severe side effects. Then we also see people who understand these side effects are not worth it, and are looking to a more natural fix for their ailments. So while the medical community has more pills than candy stores have jelly beans, the rise of holistic medicines and practices offers similar relief at a slower pace that actually tries to heal the body instead of masking symptoms. I hope we continue to see new "old medicines" brought to us.
Re: coconut oil is brain food
Keith, I agree. God gave us everything we need to live a healthy life. Problem is, man decided they knew better than God and started making synthetic medications. I think these medications are doing more harm than good.

Coconut oil is amazing and more so than was previously known.
It can actually help in healing cells.
I use it for my moisturizer; it's healthy and cheap.

Miss Lillia,
I also use it as a moisturizer. It is the only moisturizer that does not make my face break out, like other
moisturizer that I have tried. Wish I had known about it sooner.
