I think we'll be starting some tomatoes and peppers this week-end. Have to get a place set up for them, probably in the room we turned into a pantry.

I hope to be starting some pepper seeds in a couple of weeks. I noticed at Wally World that peppers were .68 each. Wow!

Have you considered doing heirloom seeds and seed saving? We've been doing that for a couple of years now. Sure helps reduce the shock value of buying seeds.

I'm waiting for Winter to give us the wallop I'm expecting before I decide to start any seeds. The weather has been so goofy that I'm afraid to get anything started yet.

I actually have considered saving seeds. Last year I did save sunflower seeds and wish I would have tried to save some tomatoes and peppers. I may try that this year. I do have a good book on seed saving, "Seed to Seed" by Suzanne Ashworth. study I guess last year I was just so busy during the summer that I didn't take the time.

I've heard of that book before and thought it would be nice to have.
