interesting. Seed viability of corn is 10 years average Shocked That is a good site!!

Yeah, I was surprised by some of them. I figure it would help us as he save our seeds to know how much we should save from year to year. Some we could save more of if we get a good crop one year to insure having enough for the years we may have to plant an extra crop in case the first one didn't do well.

I always try to rotate all my seeds out on a three year basis, but I never quite know the exact age of seeds I buy. By saving my own, and getting back to heirlooms only (the debate over tomatoes with the wife continues) I will be able to keep track of these things better.

I'm gonna need more storage room...
