2014 Handmade Christmas Gift Exchange

This is to replace our missing list of this year's participants. We have dizzy, kerrig, mountainmama and Patrice all participating. Dizzy and mountainmama were drawn as one pair, the other pair is kerrig and Patrice. We're following the rules that Sonshine had originally set up and packages should be mailed to each other in the beginning of December.

Please make sure you have contacted your swap partner and get to know one another better.

I think I finally figured out what I'm making. Now I just have to purchase my supplies and get started on it.

I finally have the time to start making stuff. Now I just need to figure out for sure what I'm making. I have some ideas, but not 100% sure what I'm doing yet.

How's everyone doing on their gifts? Let's plan to ship the gifts to each other on December 10th. If this date doesn't work for anyone please post here so we can all agree to a new date.

So far, I haven't started. The only time I was near the store where I needed to buy the supplies, I didn't have the money to do so. But, I should be able to get them on Tuesday. Then since it gets dark so early, I'll have plenty of time in the evenings to get it done.

I've decided what to make and got most of the supplies. This is so much fun!

I finished purchasing my supplies today and hope to get finished working on it this weekend.

I need to wait to ship until the weekend after the 10th. We are going to be gone to Virginia.

Dizzy & mountainmama you both can still ship on the10th or if you need a few extra days we can all ship on the 12th or 15th instead. Just post here if you will be shipping later and make sure your swap partner is aware of the change prior to the ship.

I can't believe we're shipping in about a month!

I went into a craft store today hoping to get what I needed, but they didn't have what I was looking for, so I need to go to another one. If I can't find what I'd planned on doing, I just might have to change it.

I hate when that happens, I hope you find what you need at the next store.

I'll be running down to Hobby Lobby as soon as I have the chance. Tried to get hubby to stop Saturday, and he wouldn't do it.

I've had fun getting to know kerrig better and coming up with her gift. I hope you all enjoyed participating in this year's swap as well.

I'm working on mine, but am still having problems getting all the supplies I need. So, I'll be improvising. As long as it works, I should be able to get done and get it mailed in time.

Don't worry, Dizzy, I'm slow right now as well. Both dd's are sick plus I started a new job and things are hectic here. One day at a time.

I'm shooting for Wednesday. I started working a new job a few weeks ago and the po is closed when I get off. They've cut our po hours but I should be able to get in this Wednesday.

I'm not quite done. I've had problems getting what I need to finish it. Plus on Sunday evening when I thought I was going to have time to do a lot of work, instead I had to deal w/a drunk hubby. W/all the time I've wasted looking for the supplies, as well as dealing w/the hubby, I would be done this. But, it will go out this week.
