Three New Bowls Empty Three New Bowls

Post by Rohn Wed Oct 31, 2012 11:01 pm

Here are some bowls I just completed this morning.

OAK - It is 8 inches across and 4 1/2 inches tall.

MAPLE - This one is made from some wood I bought at an auction a couple of years ago and it was considered junk wood. I can't remember how many board feet there was but the boards were about 8 feet long and stacked side by side with stickers in between the stack was about two feet tall. I paid $20.00 for the stack.
I included two pictures (different lighting) so I chould show off the fancy wood pattern.
6 1/2 inches across and 3 inches tall.

ELM - 6 inches across and 3 1/4 inches tall.

Comments and critiques always welcome.

I really like the grain in the wood of those. Well done!
