Garlic Green Beans
I had these at a Chinese restaurant and thought I'd try to make my own. They turned out delicious. Here's what I did:
In a skillet, put 2 pats of butter, 2 garlic cloves (pressed) and 1 pound of tender green beans such as Blue Lake or Tenderettes. Cook with a lid on the pot over medium-low heat until beans are just crisp-tender. Remove lid and sautee on medium high heat until the beans brown a bit, stirring occasionally.
