A New Twist On Pizza Empty A New Twist On Pizza

Post by Rohn Fri Apr 06, 2012 8:45 am

Hi folk! I am Rohn's daughter. Dad wanted me to post about the Chicken BBQ Ranch Pizza I made for our after church snack on Sunday. I think think this is a great way to use up left over chicken. I made a twelve inch pizza or there about and only used I decent size chicken breast. I'm sorry that I don't have measurements. I often times just dump and eye ball when I'm doing my own thing in the kitchen. Okay here is the basic recipe. I will tell you what I did but I'm sure it would taste great your way also.

INGREDIENTS
Pizza Crust - I mixed up my own.
Ranch Salad Dressing - I used Aldi brand.
BBQ Sauce - I used Sweet Baby Ray's Hickory BBQ Sauce.
Chicken Breast, cooked and cut into small pieces.
Parsley - I had some frozen from my herb garden.
Mozzarella Cheese.

On your crust spread the Ranch Dressing. Make "strips" with the BBQ Sauce. Add Chicken and Parsley. Top with Mozzarella Cheese. Bake at the temperature and time your crust recipe says. Enjoy!

This is one of those recipes you could add other ingredients to make it even better like onions, other cheeses, herbs, or seasonings, or whatever you can think of!!!

Let us know if you try it and what you think. Sorry we didn't take any pictures of our yummy snack.

That sounds interesting, Sonshine. Maybe you should try it with sweet potatoes too.

You are right, Sonshine. I saw your avatar in the previous post and thought you posted that one. I'll have to look more carefully from now on. Laughing
