Ducks are beginning to lay!!!

We found a duck egg in their pen this morning. It's about the size of a bantum egg. LOL but that's a sign the ducks are going to lay before cold weather. This may be the answer to the lack of chicken eggs. YOOHOO!!!!
We have 8 ducks and two drakes so if those 8 ducks start laying we should have plenty of eggs. Those would be good to freeze for making cakes and pies. I'm kinda excited. Can you tell. LOL
