Crullers (Liztki)

5 Egg Yolks
1 pint Sour Cream
1 tablespoon Sugar
3+ cups All Purpose Flour
Powdered Sugar for dusting

Mix the egg yolks, sour cream and sugar. Add 1 cup flour at a time to form a stiff dough.

Turn the dough onto a floured work surface.
Roll dough into a 1/4 inch thick rectangle.
Cut the dough into 3 inch wide by 6 inch long strips.
Cut a slit in the center of each piece of dough.
Pull one end of the dough through the center slit and a twist.
Fry each in hot oil until golden brown.
Drain on paper bags.
Dust with powdered sugar when cool.
Store tightly covered.
