August 23rd Bunker Index - They are coming!

With a BI of only 5 today it might look like we're sailing under blue skies and in calm waters. We're not. Right now the opposition is gathering up bottles to be made into molotov cocktails, nailing hateful signs to heavy boards which can later be used as clubs, and picking out the stores and homes they plan on looting later. They are coming. Are you ready?

Racial violence is on the rise, stoked by politicians and law enforcement who (at the attorney general's orders) refuse to prosecute. The sound of an angry horde can be heard on the horizon. We can't stop giving them free money to live on or they'll riot. We can't keep giving them free money to live on because we're going broke. I'm afraid that what is coming is going to make the racial tension and social upheaval of the 1960's look like an argument between two old ladies down at the craft store.

If we do an accurate threat assessment, the tyrannical government comes in at #2 and the potential threat of war with China comes in a distant 3rd. What's beginning to look the most likely is that the Third-World nation we've created within our own borders with our entitlement programs is going to rise up against us. Either when we deliberately stop the dole, when we can't afford the dole any longer, or when we hyperinflate the economy so badly trying to sustain the dole that no amount of money will buy them the food and toys they crave.

Light the signal fires. Sharpen your knives. Keep your weapons close to hand. They are coming. War is upon us.



1. Ghadafi loyalists have struck back in Tripoli, showing us that Ghadafi is anything but defeated. The rebels were all but drafting a new constitution yesterday (based on Sharia law of course) but as night fell across Tripoli the fighting resumed, revealing that they still have a long way to go. SO FAR the costs for our "limited American involvement is almost a billion dollars according to new estimates by the Pentagon. And we all know how good the Pentagon is at figuring out their budget.

2. According to a Gallup poll, Ron Paul is only a few percentage points away from all of the other Republican candidates in the field so far. This is a much more narrow gap than any election I can remember him running in. His simple message of Constitutional austerity and thrift is strongly resonating with voters after Bush and Obama. ESPECIALLY after Obama. Why is this a prepping concern? Well, don't get me wrong ... I voted for Ron Paul in the last election, even when I had to write him in as a candidate, and I plan on voting for him again in this coming election (if we make it that far). But what happens if Ron Paul wins? Do you think the legions of socialist tyrants in politics are just going to say "aww shucks" and shuffle off into obscurity? Are the zombie hordes that comprise the FSA going to just give up all of their entitlements without a fight? I doubt it. I think on the day Ron Paul is sworn in, American inner cities will burn, the unions will sabotage utilities and social services, and the liberal socialists will drown us all with their tears of rage. I ALSO say, if there be trouble then let it be in OUR time that we may deal with it ourselves and not pass this impending fight on to our children or grandchildren. When I go to the polls and pull the lever for Ron Paul, I will go home and make sure all of my food preps are topped off and my Mossberg is close at hand.

3. Rape charges against former head of the IMF Strauss-Kahn have now been dropped. It appears the "victim" was in fact a high paid prostitute planted by the SEIU and any sexual encounter they may have had was consensual. So the SEIU plants a prostitute in this man's hotel room who later cries rape and Obama's friend and ally, a lawyer who formerly worked for a big Chicago firm who received millions for their services in keeping his birth certificate hidden and out of the courts, is now the head of the IMF. If this is all coincidence and not a conspiracy then I'll eat my hat.

(As an aside, they had to drop charges partly because the $3000-per-night hotel suite the IMF director was staying in was so polluted with semen from at least 4 different men that the forensic team couldn't make head nor tails of the evidence. This tells me two things: A) The maid service at that expensive hotel either isn't very good or is providing a service other than cleaning as a specialty. B) I need to buy a van for my traveling and sleep in it instead of staying in any more hotels. YUCK.

4. Hurricane Irene is expected to be upgraded to a Category 4 by Thursday and the path is slightly changing. She's now aimed more towards the Carolinas. Brace yourselves, folks!

5. Democrat Maxine Waters told a group of her constituents and an television audience in Los Angeles that she's not intimidated or frightened by the Tea Party and that the Tea Party can go "straight to hell". The audience, composed of her supporters as well as numerous SEIU thugs, met this proclamation with cheers. I wasn't aware that the Tea Party had tried to intimidate or frighten her, except indirectly by trying to send her and her entitlement brethren back to the unemployment line, but it sounds like she's issuing a call to war. Are you ready? To her, the "Tea Party" is a euphemism for white, conservative America. Whether you are or aren't part of the Tea Party, if you look like the Tea Party then you're on their target list.

The US Mint has suspended the sale of certain gold coins indefinitely because ... well ... gold is getting expensive.

To be perfectly clear, gold is NOT getting expensive. Gold is the anchor point for wealth and has been for countless centuries through countless civilizations. What you are seeing is the real-time plummeting of the dollar and its ability to buy a given amount of gold.

In other words, the higher gold climbs, the more worthless your dollars are.
