Re: So, what's everyone planting this year?
We're thinking about putting in some carrots and beets this week-end. The cold hasn't affected what we've planted so far. I haven't checked my basil yet though, so I'm hoping it's ok. Joe came home with another lavendar plant for me, but I'm holding off on planting it for now.

I checked my beet bed a few minutes ago. They're coming up!!!!!!!!!! I think I will plant another little bed so I will be able to can some for William.
I didn't see any carrots coming up but the radishes still look good even after the freezing temps. We have some more freeze coming later in the week. Think I will cover them just to be safe also the blueberry bushes are blooming. I need them covered too.

Patrice and Sonshine... Patsy from HT sent me some of her walking onion bulbs! Said she needed to pay them forward, because someone had given them to her years ago! What a blessing! So, Sonshine - if there are some left in the seed train, take all that you need... If there aren't any left, Patrice and I will share - just please let us know! So exciting trying new things! As you mentioned, Sonshine - I hope we can have a seed train here next year!

Tater Farm,
thanks. Not sure how much longer till the seed train makes it to my house, but I'll let you guys know if there are any of the walking onions left. I do want to have a seed train here next year, but you guys may have to remind me.
