Welcome to Candle Making.... Empty Welcome to Candle Making....

Post by My1SqueakyShoe Sun May 10, 2009 9:08 am

Welcome to the Candle Making Forum. My name is Patricia. I have only made one hand dipped candle in my life so my knowledge is limited. But that has never stopped me before!!!! I worked in an office next to a candle maker and was fortunate enough to see how he made some of them. The oils that fragrance soap, can also be used for candles too. I do want to have bee's on my homestead and plan on turning some of that wax into candles. I am here to learn with you as we grow in our candle making skills.

I am a firm believer that there are no Stupid questions. Comments are Always welcome. Personal attacks are not. We are all here to learn and we all have something to offer. If you have a problem or question feel free to PM me. PM is a private message. If you look to the Right of this message you will see an Icon under my angel of a person with a 'mp' next to them. If you click this Icon you can send me a message privately.

So have fun and stay out of the flame!!!!

I am sure this forum will burn brightly among the rest. Most of my candle making has been with molds. However, I just watched a video (if you go through the link on my blog to purchase it, I get credit), by the West girls. They had some wonderful and very simple ideas. It is called Homestead Blessings and can be found through the Franklin Springs family media link on my blog. Down On The Farm
