Hiya, I'm beccachow. I have 4 goats, 1 wether who is about a year and a few months old, his name is Whitey (gee, what color do you think he is?) he is an adorable pygmy/angora. I have 3 babies I have had since they were 2 months old, they are now 7 months and are adorable little pygmys, two doelings (Frosty and Annie) and one wether (Smokey). My daughter named all the babies...I wanted Noel (we got them all a few days after Christmans) but was voted down in favor of...are you ready for this...Frosty, the Snow Goat.

It has been a long journey to success with goats, with some heartbreak along the way. I am not overly knowledgeable but I learned a lot in a short time from frantically trying to save a few, that I lost anyway. I learned that vets don't have the answers when it comes to goats, and you need to rely on yourself and the experience of others.

Hello to my co-host, Joe! Let's have some goatie fun!!!

LOL We have 3 pygmies. A Momma and her two kids. We had problems deciding on names until we bought some licorice flavored treats. Momma LOVED them, so we named her Licorice. The kids are named Gumdrop and Candy, staying in line of the candy theme.

Got rid of my goats this year. Sad time really but I could not keep them in the fence and they kept eating my cabbages and broccoli. I found one the other day that I want to buy if I can keep him up. I need one for brush clean up. He is spotted up like a dalmation. Hubby hates goats milk anything so I do not need one for that. I just mis mine and my kids do to.
