To die for pot roast
I use southwestern ranch last time and it was wonderful. There is no need to brown it because it falls apart. This is best used witha a chuck roast (cheaper). I roast my veggies in the oven seperate from this and serve with rolls so they can sop up all the gravy.

1 dry package ranch
1 dry package onionsoup
1 dry package of itialian dressing mix
1 roast
water to cover

Place roast in crockpot (no need to brown) Mix the dry packages in a little water and pour over your roast.(This makes it mix better) Cover roast in water. Cook on low for 8 hours.
