What do you like to crochet/knit?

I make baby blankets, prayer shawls, and wedding shawls to give to people who need them. I have been doing crochet since my Mom had a Mastectomy and my friend showed up the night before surgery with a shawl to help me.

I don't do much knitting or crocheting any longer due to arthritis.

I CAN do both, but I much prefer knitting. My crochet gets tighter and tighter with every round for some reason.

I haven't had time to knit much for a while now. Maybe someday.

I haven't done any crocheting in years, and don't know how to knit. But learning is on my bucket list.

I like to crochet dishrags, scarves, rag rugs, baby blankets, headbands. . .anything to do with crochet. My 14dd likes to crochet stuffed animals.

I can do both but I much prefer to knit. I like to do socks, shawls, dishcloths, baby items and rugs. Knitted rug patterns are kind of hard to find but I seem to be coming across more. I will admit that I do like simple and quick. I have recently gotten into making knitted toys for babies too.

Something else I used to do a lot was spin my own fiber but haven't touched my wheel in almost two years. I'm hoping to get back to it. I have a lot of fiber I have to process but first I have to get my wool picker so I can card up the fiber and then spin it.

Right now I'm working on a baby blanket for my DD2's sister-in-law. Once that is done I will be doing another one for my grand baby that will be here in September. I'm going to do a knitted swaddle blank too that I found a pattern for.

You know, I've found that most people do prefer one over the other when it comes to knit and crochet.
