a clever idea for a small raised bed
These could be planters or, if expanded a bit raised beds...free of cost

Re: a clever idea for a small raised bed
When I first saw that do you know what I thought? Potato pot!
It would be perfect! You just get long uprights and do a few rounds at the bottom and plant the potatoes, then as you need to earth them up you just add wattle and dirt up and up and up. You could pick what ever size around you wanted and go as high as you wanted. No worries about drainage either. Then at harvest, you could take a pair of loppers and whack down the sides, chucking the wattle and sticks on your burn pile or compost pile and harvest away.
Thanks SO much for a great idea!

These look great, but way too time consuming for me. It seems like every minute that I am not at work is in fast forward these days. lol
