Hand Crafted Violins

My son has handcrafted his first two violins.  They turned out beautiful and here are some pictures.

Here is Benjamin and Esther with the violins.  The one Esther is holding is the first one finished although they were both finished within days of each other.  Esther is now the owner of the one she is holding.


Here is Ben putting the makers label on the inside.

Wow!! Rohn, those are gorgeous violins. You must be so proud of the fine work he does, just as much as he should be. I'd love to see/hear the clip, but it won't allow me to on this tablet. I'll have to try my other tablet later and see if I can get to see/hear it.

My friend Carl has made several violins and he also makes harps. 

Making a musical instrument is a truly magical thing.  You son did an amazing job!

Actually as the violin gets more age and the more it is played the sound just gets better and the value increases.
