I even found golden currants in the Missouri Conservation tree catalog last night. It is a plant they are encouraging us to plant here, so I guess it must be native. ??

Checked it out, and yep, it's native.

Some are native, some are not.

where do you look up native plants? I'd like a good listing for my area that includes trees, grasses, and fruiting plants.

Christmas Cash - Page 2 Empty Re: Christmas Cash

Post by carla Fri Jan 03, 2014 9:30 am

We are in a real financial mess this year and I could only give the grandblessings a bunch of stocking stuffer's I picked up for .25 each. They went on and on about those little gifts and how I had wrapped each little thing individually  so they had a lot of things to open. They loved them and it probably only cost about 15.00 for 4 kids.
A friend of mine did not know our financial difficulty, but God told her to send me some money. She blessed me with a 50.00 check which was used to put some meat in the freezer as we were completely out of meat and had been going to a pantry to get help.
I feel like this gifts are from God and we both used them very wisely.
After she sent me the money she was blessed by 3 other people. I don't know how they blessed her, but God rewarded her for giving to us.
I heard someone say " don't refuse a gift because you could be denying the giver from getting a blessing." I thought that was a very neat statement and have come to believe it to be true.
