My dh and his friend call me 'the boss'. Or 'the pit bull'. I cannot imagine why. Except when there are problems, they call ME!

Eight is the ONLY correct number and you are all wrong and should switch to my viewpoint so you can be right too. Anyone who doesn't switch to the number 8 is a far left (or right) leaning liberal (or conservative) and therefore wrong.
