Anyone else worried about Syria?

Anyone else worried about Syria?
We don't have TV, so all my news is from the net, when I do happen to read something. How serious is the situation with Syria? I'm frustrated that with our tanking economy, fighting in the ME, and a host of other problems including the loss of our freedoms, we're getting involved in yet ANOTHER country's problems. I'm wondering what this will mean for us.

I am very concerned about that. With Russia and China both telling us to stay away and the current administration pushing ahead the stage is being set for a third world war.
All we can do is pray

Re: Anyone else worried about Syria?
It doesn't surprise me that the world is pushing towards third world war, or that the middle east is heavily involved. I see it as being scriptual for the end times. As Keith said, all we can do is pray. Worrying never solved problems, and we really have no power to change what is, but we do have the power of prayer.
Re: Anyone else worried about Syria?
Maybe worried isn't the right word, but I am concerned. I have lots of family and friends in the military and I don't like the idea of us being involved in yet another ME problem when we have so much going on here at home.

Re: Anyone else worried about Syria?
Our congress needs to take a stand against this fool, very soon. Perhaps if everyone contacted their senators and representatives (intentionally lower case) to express concerns about the ME situation something may be done...
In fact I would encourage everyone to be known by the person who answers the phone as "You again" LOL

Re: Anyone else worried about Syria?
mountainmama, I understand your concerns. We are a military family. Joe is still active duty for another 2 years, plus I have nephews that are now serving. We also have a lot of friends who are military, since we've been military for about 30 years just about all our friends are military. This administration is dangerous to the military.
