Thank you 12acrehome!
I just wanted to say thank you to 12acrehome for bringing the idea of seed saving to my attention!
This year I am going herlom with about half of my garden, and plan to go herlom with the rest next year. The only reason I didn't do everything this year is I knew I had a 2 week streach at work with no days off so I needed to get as much out as possable, and I had to buy what I could find. So far my herloms are as follows.
Maters
Taters
cucumbers
beans
cantilopes
pumpkins
I think that is it, but I could be wrong, I have a bad short term memory.
God bless,
Chad

Re: Thank you 12acrehome!
Chad, looks like you have a good start. I was going to try to do a seed swap this year but it didn't happen. I'm hoping to try at a later date and see how many would be interested in it.
Re: Thank you 12acrehome!
umm Thanks Brother Chad... I really should not have full credit for the heirloom idea. Sonshine, and others I cannot recall at this time set the standard for this site, I merely promote it as sound logic.
I hope to also participate in the seed swap later this year (late fall when seeds are harvested)
Re: Thank you 12acrehome!
Keith, I may promote heirloom seeds, but you have blessed us with the seed saving tips. I agree with Chad in thanking you for all you have done for this forum.
Re: Thank you 12acrehome!
Thanks Sonshine, the tips are a work in progress to be picked up when time allows
Re: Thank you 12acrehome!
Keith, I echo "Thanks" along with the others. Seed saving is an adventure in itself, and any tips or viewpoints along the way are appreciated.
