I came up with this while cooking from the pantry. It turned out very good!

1 large can chicken broth (32 oz)
1 small can of chicken (6 or 7 oz.)
1 cup white rice
black pepper
1/2 tsp. onion powder (optional)
a few sprigs of parsley (optional)

Mix the broth, chicken, and rice in a large pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook until rice is tender. For extra flavor, add some onion powder and black pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley. (Mine grows in the kitchen windowsill.)
