Peanut Butter Bars

1/2 cup butter softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/3 cup peanut butter
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
1 cup . (6oz) chocolate morsels

Frosting
1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
1/4 cup peanut butter
2 to 4 Tablespoons milk

Cream butter, add sugars and cream well. Blend in egg, 1/3 c. peanut butter, soda, salt, and
vanilla. Stir in flour and oats. Spread in greased 13x9 pan. bake350 degrees 20 - 25
minutes. After baking sprinkle with chocolate morsels. Let stand 5 minutes to allow
chocolate to melt, then use a knife to spread evenly. Combine 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar,
1/4 c. peanut butter and milk.

Mix well and drizzle over top. Let cool completely and cut .
