My garden afer first tilling this spring
Here are a couple of pictures of my garden after I tilled it for the first time this year. Did the tilling last night. The swing set and things in the background are not ours and are on the neighbors property. The garden measures 95 feet by 22 feet plus a bit more at the far end. I'll till it a couple more times before I plant. It is still a bit wet but seemed to till fairly well. I put a lot of leaves on it last year so hopefully this tilling will get them ground up and down in the soil some. With the warm weather we have been having it is tempting to plant early, but I won't because of the possibility of frost wiping out everything I've done so far.

Re: My garden afer first tilling this spring
Looking good. If the weather clears up some this week-end I'll get Joe to get some pics around our homestead. We're suppose to be getting thunderstorms a bit later today and some rain tomorrow, so we may not get the chance to do much around here this weekend.

Looks good Rohn. You've got yourself a pretty large garden spot there, mine is only 30'x15' plus a good number of self-watering buckets, some large planters and a few grow bags.

Looks real nice Rohn. If I ever get my raised beds planted I'll post pictures of my garden area.

Thanks for the comments everyone. Besides this garden we also have an herb garden which my daughter takes care of. Once she gets it all straightened out and planted this year I'll post a picture of it.

Here's mine after adding AG Lime (instead of quick lime) and tilling deep. This was the second tilling for both areas.

Re: My garden afer first tilling this spring
Looking good Keith. Joe had planned to get some pics around here today, but we got tied up with other things. Hopefully we'll get some up within the next couple of days.
Re: My garden afer first tilling this spring
pictures are the play part that show off our chores, fun to share the accomplishments, but not a priority. I just happened to finish with time to take a few pics and share them.
Re: My garden afer first tilling this spring
Looks good Keith. I know you will have your garden planted before I get mine in since you are further south. I'll have to wait until the second week of May to plant tomatoes, peppers, squash, or anything else that can't survive the frost. I am hoping to put in a few peas and some beets soon though.

I knew that. I don't know why I wrote Joe. I edited it now.

That looks really nice. Am I seeing it correctly that it turns a corner to go up the other side of your house? Very nice!
