Proverbs 22;7
The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender (kjv)

So the one who borrows money is a slave to the one who lends the money, (according to Dave Ramsey) hmm.

But Romans 13:7 13:8 seem to back this up.

Render therefore to all their dues; tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honour to whom honour.

Owe no man anything, but to love one another; for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.


With 19 years of marriage and easily that many and more in mistakes both as man and wife, and when we were single, I can say that following these two passages of scripture will help a person, any person to go far in life.

Just where I was today, and I finally found the scripture I hear quoted on the radio. (trust, but verify before repeating)

Just another reason to live a frugal life.
