Acrylic/Wood pen

Acrylic/Wood pen
I am a wood turner and I made a pen today, on my lathe from acrylic and blood wood. I believe the blood wood comes from Africa. I actually had some trouble with the acrylic when I was pressing the pen together it chipped out and I almost threw the pen away. Then I decided to cut it off where it chipped out and replace it with wood. I also turned a wooden center band for it. I think it turned out OK, but not real great. Hope you like seeing some pictures of it.

Here is a picture of the pen with the center band that came with the kit. I think I like it better than the one I turned.

Sorry my photography is not better.
Thanks for looking. All Comments welcome.
