Cherry Mini Lamp

I made this cherry mini lamp for my DW for Christmas. It is 14" tall. You can see the size better in the second picture where I put my drinking mug beside it.

Thanks for the nice comments. I have made several of these for my daughters and Mother. This is the first one that I did for my wife (I've done lots of other things for her). I do enjoy turning wood.

You do a good job at turning wood. Joe did more with scroll saws when he was doing wood working. Do you have a website with the things you make and are willing to sell? If so, you are free to post the link in our bartering section. I know Joe wants to buy something from you, but I think he's already sent you a PM about it.

Thanks for the offer but, I do not have a web site at this time. Perhaps sometime I will have. I could post my email address if anyone was interested in seeing my email brochure. I just tried to post my email but was stopped because I am a new member. If they send me a PM I'll send them my email, then I can email them my brochure.

I have considered a web site and might do that sometime. I also may post some in the barter section. I just posted here so I could show my work and hopefully get others to show pictures of their work. I really enjoy seeing pictures of projects that others are doing as well as showing mine. I also hope others enjoy my posts.

I enjoy your post. Hopefully more of the men that are members here will start posting more too. I like seeing your work too. My crafts are more just crafts. They don't really fall into any particular category though. I do dough art and like to paint folksy type things, tole painting. I do a few pine cone crafts and want to learn how to do pine needle weaving. I do some knitting and crocheting, but I'm not that good at it.

The lamp is beautiful work. I bet you refinished that sewing table in the photo.

Yes I did refinish the sewing machine cabinet many years ago. It is encloses an old treadle sewing machine that my daughters and wife have used some in the past. They also all have their own modern sewing machines but it is nice to have a foot powered one for backup.
