Can you grow mint indoors?

I use mint a lot in my infusions and it's expensive buying it from the store all the time. I was wondering if you can grow it indoors in a pot?
Also any other edible/medicinal herbs you can grow indoors? WE live in Colorado. Thx.

i don't see why not. Most herbs can be grown indoors. Why do you want to grow it indoors though? Herbs make a wonderful edible landscaping. I made a decorative herb garden in my front yard. Think of the old English cottages. They had some wonderful herb gardens that were just lovely.

Hi,
I use mint daily in my teas and tonics and I want year round access to it. We live in CO and I don't think they would survive the winter. =)

If you plant in containers, make sure you have a good size one, since mint spreads like crazy.
