Tyranny Of The Majority

The question no Republican seems interested in asking is: What gives any elected official the authority to increase taxes on American citizens whenever he has an urge to hand money to selected groups of his choosing? The Constitution doesn't say that it's the duty of the American citizen to play the role of a docile cow waiting to be milked whenever politicians decide they need more money

Re: Tyranny Of The Majority
All possible nominees running for President are only proposing new ways to milk the same cow, except Ron Paul. Ron Paul proposes a new barn, new milker, fresh feed, and lower the daily requirements of milk from the poor cow.
Re: Tyranny Of The Majority
It's really sad that the only ones running for office all seem to be cut from pretty much the same cloth. Romney might as well be a democrat, but the rest, with the exception of Ron Paul, all seem to be saying the same thing. Ron Paul concerns me with his isolationist mentality. Right now, I'm not sure who I would like to see get the nomination. I'm leaning towards Cain, even though there's some things I don't agree with him on.
Re: Tyranny Of The Majority
I am a firm believer if we need something we should produce it here, if we have extra and someone abroad wants it, lets sell it but only if our needs at home are met. If you sell goods here, you should have your factories here. Our jobs in the future are all going to be for the chiefs, nothing for us indians. Our forefathers never invisioned a world economy, and God didnt either.
Re: Tyranny Of The Majority
I agree with that, but I also believe that, although not to the extent we are now, but that our military needs to have bases outside of the USA, in strategic locations. If I'm not mistaken, Ron Paul wants to close all bases abroad.
