Goslings in their new home Empty Goslings in their new home

Post by Mississippi Momma Thu Jun 16, 2011 9:13 am

We moved the goslings to a brooder yesterday. I was a little worried they might not make it too well but they have and are even eating better. We keep a light on them during the day and night but at night we also cover them with a tarp.

One of the goslings is a lot bigger than the other. Maybe that means I have a goose and a gander. I sure hope so. I would love to be able to raise our own geese.

Thanks for the update on your goslings. Hope you do have a goose and a gander. That would be pretty neat. We'll be butchering 9 chickens on Saturday, if it's not raining.
