You wouldn't love the price of everything in Hawaii, I guarantee it. I lived there in the 70's. My second child was born there in 75. Back then the Hawaiins didn't care much for military or tourists. Called us "Hollies" LOL

Oh, I know it is expensive. It would have been nice to have a vacation spot though! We went when I was 10. I loved it. Unfortunately, I got sunburned so bad I ended up spending most of my time indoors. Sad

We've been to Oahu.. I really like Hawaii.. but probably wouldn't want to live there either..

The Scandinavian people had stories about little people who lived in the woods. I remember my Grandmother talking about it. I think it came from mythology, to explain things.. -- Like when something went missing Smile
