No Doubt About it... Empty No Doubt About it...

Post by Xam Thu Jun 04, 2009 12:16 pm

No doubt about it....Barack did not bow this time! In fact...it looked to me like King Abdullah had to get a ladder to kiss the cheek of the Messia...er President this time. The man was vertical and refused to bend...even a bit. The funny thing is...this means (according to the White House excuse for the bow last time) that either Obama shrunk...or the King grew. After all...we were told it was simply a matter of a taller man shaking a shorter mans hand...it was not a bow.

Why do I harp on something so seemingly insignificant? Because the this administration cannot admit to the slightest error. The man bowed the first time he greeted King Abdullah...and very much so did not the second time. The excuse the White House offered on the first go round should have insulted every able bodied Americans intelligence...but it didn't.

Yeah, that was fun to watch. Gotta love how straight he stood upon greeting the king.

No link...haven't looked for it on the net...saw it on the live broadcast.

To further the point that he bowed....saw him shake the hand of a man in a wheelchair today...was no bow when he did, though he did have to bend down to do it. Huge difference between a bend and a bow.

To his (Obama) credit...thought he was very respectful today...at least on the parts I saw and heard.
