Here's the link:

http://uncheeseparty.wordpress.com/2010/10/

Here's a brief synopsis that I was given:

There was an illegal, unconstitutional govt raid on a private food club in California back in what... August?

The jamochs who did the raiding said that our own Ozark Jewel's family dairy, Morningland, had cheese in the raid that was loaded with bad things. The cheese had been out of Morningland's hands for over 4 months when it was seized, then held on to another SEVEN WEEKS before testing - wasn't even refrigerated.

We've since found out that Morningland didn't sell the cheese to them. The govt has been trying to cover up the whole mess, but in the meantime, they INSIST that Morningland destroy a quarter million dollars' worth of product.

The FDA came out to test the dairy, and took over 100 swabs, ALL of which came back NEGATIVE for pathogens.

But the Missouri Milk Board and Attorney General both insist that the cheese must still be destroyed, and until yesterday, would allow NO testing of the product at Morningland.

The whole saga is here:

We decided to pay for the cheese, to try to keep the dairy from going under. We've had some wild uncheese parties...

We've also been writing to elected Public Servants as well as appointed Public Servants to let them know that we know what they're up to - and we're not taking it.

Morningland is in bad shape, b/c the govt won't let them make their healthy product - and in its THIRTY YEARS of production, NO ONE HAS EVER GOTTEN SICK FROM MORNINGLAND CHEESE. That's very important to remember.

If you can spread the word, write a note of encouragement to Morningland, tell the Public Servants that you're holding them accountable, and send a few bucks to the dairy to help with legal expenses, it'd be great.

If you know someone who has some authority or legal expertise in this area, or some one who has a bully pulpit or the public's ear in some other way, we ask you to enlist their aid.

ANYthing you can do to help is greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, the farming bill was passed. They voted on it Wednesday. I wish I had seen this sooner. Sad
