Can't believe I did this
I must be getting old. I needed a new toothbrush and bought one the other night. I wasn't crazy about the thick handle, but a toothbrush is a toothbrush and this one had soft bristles, which is what I wanted.
When I got home from the store, I heard a whirring noise behind me and dd2 asked, "Mom, why on earth did you buy a battery operated toothbrush? Is it that strenuous to brush your teeth?"
Boy, my girls teased the snot out of me the rest of the night. According to them, I am now to old and worn out to brush my own teeth without "help!"

When my son was little, I was trying to stress to him the importance of brushing his teeth. He says to me, Grand pop takes his teeth out to brush them. And, he thought that was neat.

Tell them they are just jealous because they have to brush the old fashioned way and you've gone high tech. LOL

Re: Can't believe I did this
actually our dentist recommends electric toothbrushes, and a water pic for gum health, which will also help keep your teeth... so tell them you will still be brushing your teeth when they are gumming their soup

Now that's a good point! LOL!Sonshine wrote:LOL At least you don't have to take them out to brush them.
