Hello Everyone!
Rain glorious rain! God is blessing us in the south.
Oh, for those who don't know me, I am Cheryl. Married to Jack, we have a seven yr old son Kile who has autism. I have from a previous marriage, three children, Melissa 31, Justin 28, Zac 27. and seven grandchildren from 1 yr old to 15 yrs old. I live in the beautiful Smokey Mountains of East Tn. I am origionaly from everywhere, I was an Air Force Brat, home was Ky. My hubby is from MS. My three grown kids and grandkids all live in Ky as well as my mom and brother. I have lived in Johnson City TN now for almost 3 years. We moved here to get better services for our son. When we moved, since there is an abundance of white water rivers here, we took up the hobby of white water kayaking. Then the heavens dried up and so did the rivers that were not dam controlled. So this is why I am so happy for all the rain. We had no rivers the past two yrs to play in because of the drought. Not to mention that the crops were all dead.
My hubby and I planted a small garden last yr and have planted a bigger on this year. Last year was my first experience at canning since I was a small child and helped my granny do it. It was alot of work.........I'd rather be on the river somewhere. Anyway, last summer we were able to teach Kile to ride in a boat, so now we white water raft with him too.
We are doing alot of biomed treatments for his autism which was caused by the toxins in the vaccines. His tissue in his body has high amounts of arsenic, mercury, lead, and other not so pleasent things. We are doing alot of natural healing herbs with him and are seeing good results, thus my interest in herbs and natural remedies. I am shocked at the things I have found out as far as the big Pharma companies, the CDC and Doctors in general since I have been doing research on natural remedies and perscription drugs. I have decided to educate myself on natural remedies to avoid the prescription meds. The Government is trying to control us with prescription drugs and trying to make some vaccines a must for everyone, taking away our right to choose.
I enjoy learning about canning, raising animals, gardening, herbs, and would love to build a "green" home that is not full of toxins. But my passion lies in the word of God, photography and playing on the river.

Re: Hello Everyone!
Cheryl,
Glad you made it. So, what do you think of our little adventure in forums so far? I think it's going to help to streamline all the different interests.

Re: Hello Everyone!
We have had so much rain my animals were building life boats. I suspect they were watching Titanic, though, as the dogs only put enough seats in for themselves, and told the cats there was no room?!
I look forward to chatting with you.
