Deco Mesh Wreaths
Here is a link to the directions to create deco mesh wreaths. http://www.bigbearswife.com/2013/09/how-to-make-deco-mesh-wreath-form-work.html
They are very easy to make and you can tailor them to your specific taste. Here are a few that I have made so far.

Very nice! I wonder how well they'd sell at craft shows?

They probably would sell well and you could make a decent profit if you buy the supplies on sale.

Re: Deco Mesh Wreaths
I physically don't have it in me to get back into the craft show circuit again. Plus I don't have the extra money needed to purchase supplies for making enough wreaths to make it worth my trouble and the cost of the booth space that I'd have to rent.

Re: Deco Mesh Wreaths
so sell a few at a time on FB or something. Buyer pays shipping.
Just thinking here, doing crafts for profit does tend to take the fun out of it

I'll have to think about it, I enjoy doing them but I don't want to be pressured to have customers waiting for them. KWIM? I know a bunch of the girls at the nursing home have shown interest in them.

I know exactly what you mean. Put a shipping deadline on it, and suddenly it's work, and nothing turns out right with it, lol

Yep, exactly

They are all the rage here, and I've seen tons at the local craft shows, but they don't seem to sell well. The folks who love them make their own or make them for friends.

Those are beautiful. My sister used to make them and tried to sell them at craft shows. Everyone else was selling them like hot cakes but she was never able to sell one. She became very discouraged. I am now the proud owner of a Fall wreath that she made.

Thanks Kerrig, they are fairly easy to make and not too expensive IF you buy the materials on sale or clearance. I've been getting rolls of mesh at Walmart for $1-$3 and a single roll will make 2 wreaths.

I love them! I bought a roll of burlap type ribbon like that last year.. maybe it would work for a wreath?
Selling is a lot of work, I have done that here and there but don't have it in me anymore either...

Re: Deco Mesh Wreaths
It probably would work, especially if it is the wider width ribbon.
