Hello from Kentucky!
Hello brothers and sister,
I am a Freewill Baptist Preacher from Kentucky. I am fairly new to homesteading, and have a lot to learn. I currently only reaise chickens, and New Zealand White meat rabbits. I have a garden, but I haven't had much luck with it so far. I have 2 daughters 1 is 13 months old the other is 4 years old going on 30. I am married to my high school sweet heart. I live a very happy live, and try to keep it as simple as possable. I am a coal miner.
I am a young earth creationist, and believe when God said 6 day he ment 6 days. I am very orthodox in my beliefs, and oly use the KJV Bible.
I hope to learn a lot form this forum, and hope that I will be able to contribute to others. I am very open to questions about my beliefs and to people challanging my beliefs with there own.
I am the Outdoor Education Coordinator for Interfaith Appalachia. A collage service program focased on better relations between people of diffrent religions, and background.
Thank you for reading this.
God bless,
Chad

Re: Hello from Kentucky!
Glad to welcome to to Christian Homesteaders. I also believed 6 days are 6 days in the creation of the earth. Love the KJV of the bible.
I also am a preacher form the Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church.
Good to have you on board.

Re: Hello from Kentucky!
Welcome to our family. I think everyone here agrees that 6 days means 6 days. Glad to have another minister on board. Until recently I was a children's pastor, but due to health reasons I have finally stepped down. I still have my son to minister to as well as his friends. Looking forward to your input.

Re: Hello from Kentucky!
Not only am I a young earth creationist, but my background is in biology. Most people don't understand how the 2 go hand in hand since they think science has proved evolution. What they don't realize is that, the more you study biology w/an open mind, the less sense evolution makes-and it never made much sense to me to begin with!

Re: Hello from Kentucky!
science / biology cannot show how mans eye has evolved, or what it evolved from. There are many different eyes on this earth, and they all are different, and somewhat unrelated in their design (from a mechanical point of view)
