The Bowl Named "BUB" Empty The Bowl Named "BUB"

Post by Rohn on Fri Feb 01, 2013 9:09 am

Here is a bowl I named "Bub". I usually don't name my bowls but since this one had a special characteristic that none of my other bowls have I decided give it a name. Smile I named it Bub. "Big Ugly Bowl." Crying or Very sad It is made from maple that someone gave me a long time ago and it had turned a grey color. I decided since the piece was plenty wide enough for a large bowl I would go ahead and make one. I really think this is the ugliest bowl I have ever seen. It is also the largest bowl I have made although not by much. It is 12 inches across and 5 5/8 inches high. Even though it is ugly the more I look at it the more I like it. It is going to a shop tomorrow that has a lot of primitives in it. Maybe someone will take pity on it there and give it a good home. Very Happy

I like it. It has character. Smile
