Yard Barns, outbuildings, and storage sheds
Being some what of a tightwad (cheap skate also fits) I tried to just get by with using those canvas buildings for three years. I went through three of them!! I have come to the conclusion that a cheap building is very expensive!! So I am getting ready to order a 12 x 16 lofted barn from lowes.

Anyone have any experience with these?? I am hoping to not be buying another one for 10+ years

We’ve got one of these kits that they guy we bought our house from modified… He added two kits end to end then raised the loft so you have standard height on the second story. He also added an 8’ lean off the right side which really adds floor space. All in all it gives us about 950sq ft. We are blessed to have this, I couldn’t afford to do this now.

the lean to modification I had already thought of, but the 8' second story loft I had not. Thanks for sharing this, I see a near copy appearing in Ky in the near future

It works really well for us. Joe installed stalls for the goats. He also put in plumbing so we have running water in there. We milk our goats in there and it really has been a blessing. Our well is actually housed in the barn too. We access it through a small door right under the basketball hoop. The loft is a great storage area.
