I used the top one and added the vanilla. The bottom one has baking soda added. After they start to turn brown let them sit a min and take off pan. When they cool they are chewey. These are great to makd when you are in a hurry.

PB COOKIES
1 cup peanut butter, I use chunky
1 cup sugar
1 egg
It isn't needed but I put a dollop of vanilla

mix together, roll walnut sized balls, flatten with bottom of sugar dipped glass or with criss cross marks with a fork, bake at 350 for about 10 minutes. cool on the counter, great warm with milk and even better cold. crisp on the outside, chewy in the middle.

Peanut Butter Cookies

1 cup peanut butter, creamy of chunky
1 cup sugar, granulated or brown
1 egg
1 tsp baking soda

oven to 350 degrees. grease baking sheets.

beat together peanut butter and sugar until combined well. in another bowl lightly beat egg and then beat into peanut butter mixture with baking soda until combined well.

roll teaspoons of dough into balls and put on baking sheets.

flatten balls with a fork balls to about 1 1/2 inches in diameter making a criss bake until puffed and golden about 7 min.
