Kolache

3 Sticks Butter softened
8 ounces Cream Cheese softened
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Baking Powder
3+ cups All Purpose Flour
2 cans Solo Filling (Fruit Filling/Jam)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream the butter and cream cheese together. Stir in the salt, sugar, baking powder, and vanilla. Add the flour in small batches. DO NOT overwork the dough. Flour the work surface and rolling pin.
Roll dough 1/4 inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Transfer to pan. Add a teaspoon or more of filling to each. Pull up the edges and pinch in the center. Bake 10 to 15 minutes or until the kolaches in the center of the pan are light to golden brown. Transfer to cooling rack and cool completely. Dust with confectioners sugar. Store tightly covered.
