I credit my hubs for finding this forum. Glad he did! We are empty nesters that just (last Nov) bought an old farm house on a couple of acres. We have chickens Very Happy , Two mini-dauchshunds Laughing , and the previous owners left their cat that we named Sweet Tea. I love you We've been working tirelessly to try to gut and rebuild the house. It's almost livable!
We have one grown son that lives about 40 mins from us. He's been so good to come and help on the weekends when he can.

My goal is self sufficiency and being able to give as much as possible to our church and community. We are the founders of a Christian couples ministry and the property has a small guest house on it that will house the ministry.

I'm looking forward to meeting you and learning lots!

Hi Beanie,
I'm so glad you decided to join us and look forward to getting to know you and your husband better. I hope you'll jump right in and start posting.

Welcome Aboard! I am glad to have you with us. I apologize for not welcoming you sooner but as usual, I have had 50 million things slapped on my plate. It is a common lament with me. Laughing

Please be patient with us as we are working on a few changes and getting things done around here.

You laugh because I am different. I laugh because you are all the same.
