Sacred cows make the best hamburger ---Mark Twain.
Welcome one and all...
I rather enjoy double entendre... And so I thought the thread title would help to serve two functions...
#1... This is a livestock discussion group... Hence the cow and hamburger...
#2... While I do not forsee..."Cow Talk 'n Stuff"... As being a hot button for anyone... We should remember to tether our... "sacred cows"... At home and not here... I am certain that there is an outlet for discussion of current events, somewhere around here...
Other than that... Enjoy and have fun...
I started with Chickens, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs, Ducks, Hamsters, Gerbils and such, at about the age of ten... I had a wounded Red-tailed Hawk at one time.. I started riding Shetland ponies about the age of 12, bottle feeding calves around the age of 16.... Had a hog or two as well.... I have worked with feeder pigs, dairy cattle and beef cattle... I have also been a meat cutter, carpenter, welder, machinist, heavy equipment opperator and heavy truck transporter.. My Intro and work history is listed on page two of the Hi, I'm Sonshine!... Thread
I by no means, know it all.... However, I will assist, as much as I am able, with information.. And answer any questions to the best of my ability...
Thank you...
David
