All Purpose Cleaner

Post by Sonshine on Wed Jun 10, 2009 1:22 am

All-Purpose Cleaner

• 2 tablespoons borax
• ¼ cup lemon juice
• 2 cups hot water
• 20 drops tea tree essential oil

1. Combine the borax and lemon juice with the water in a spray bottle. Cap and shake well to dissolve the mineral.

2. Add the tea tree oil and shake again to disperse the oil.

Borax is expensive and hard to get here but there is always plain water and vinegar. I understand many people don't like the smell but truthfully it does evaporate. It's cheap and not harmful and does sanitize.

also, for pet issues in the house hydrogen peroxide works where the vinegar fails

I do a lot of cleaning with vinegar and water. Best thing I've ever found to clean windows.

Keith, doesn't peroxide bleach out carpets though?

I sprinkle baking soda in my kitchen sink to scrub out stains. It cleans and shines it. Smile
